Anyway, back on topic! Benny, it did indeed put a huge grin on my face! I think it’s more than powerful enough, to be honest. The acceleration is enough that I don’t feel like I’m going to be risking my life overtaking, the top speed appears to be well over 70ish and since the car weighs so little, I don’t think I need more power. Actually, even the Corsa was generally OK - at least when there was only one person in it. Couldn’t overtake though. It just wasn’t safe!
I’m going to drive carefully for a bit - it’s a new car to me, so I need to learn how it handles. That said, I put my foot down (in straight lines!) a few times when I was test driving, and didn’t have any problems, but one of my friends bought an MG-TF and spun it (without hitting anything, luckily!) shortly after by trying to accelerate too hard out of a corner. So, I know it can be done! I’m looking forward to getting used to the way it drives and being able to push a bit more.
