New Drop Link

  1. My model of MX-5 is: Mk2 Icon V1 MY2000
  2. I’m based near: North London
  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: Good quality replacement drop links. Recently had new KYB dampers and springs fitted. Now looking to finish off with new ARB bushings and drop links. The genuine drop links are £40 each from MX5Parts which is more than I’m prepared to pay.
  • Has anyone recently installed drop links and can confirm the place of purchase and recommendation?
  • Also looking I can see the correct length, especially the front axle as some manufacturers list the length at 131mm and some 105mm?

Mx5 parts are selling them on e-bay for £17.95 a pair including post. Just changed mine & they fit no problem.

I bought the aftermarket droplinks for my Mk3, all good so far.
Mx5parts or Autolink do them, pretty much equal quality.

The OEM mk3 are awful. Aftermarket ones seem fine. MX5heaven was my choice. Sorry OP, I know yours is mk2 but should still be available.
