Great looking car … Subtle mods soon become a deep pocket hobby

Cheers, good to be here… :+1:

You’re telling me… it’s always “that’d look
Good” followed by deliveries, rolling eyes and reassurances it didn’t cost much…

Yep, looking forward to tapping into the amazing knowledge here

Well that’s given me a problem. I am about to respray the wheels on my copper red NC silver but I rather like the look of yours! I’ve got about 3 weeks to decide before they go in to be done.
Any idea what colour they are?
Mike

Hi Mike , I basically asked for a gunmetal grey finish, satin rather than Gloss or Matte… I can try and find out the code/colour they used? They do look great against the Copper Red.
Cheers, Pete

The more I look the more I like them. I was going to go for grey but having not seen any I decided to stick with silver. Think I’m going to pop in to speak to my sprayer :joy:
My only concern is whether kerb scrapes will show more with a darker colour.

I think any mark on newly painted wheels will annoy you whatever the colour. Well it does me anyway…

I think that colour combo looks really nice!!

Can do…

While I would be gutted to scrape the wheels that doesn’t show as much as I expected. I’m definitely leaning more and more towards grey.

Welcome, a nice looking 5, great colour

Cheers…. Good to be here and much appreciated… :+1:

Shame to hear that, Peu’s usually have nice handling and auto boxes have improved no end since my mums Metro!
Looking at a review of a Renault 5 electric today by another old gaffer; Harry’s garage. He seems quite taken and it was 23k in poverty clothes….
