I fitted 4 Goodyear Eagle F1 A 6s today 215/45 on my 17" wheels which are too scuffed for pictures . I replaced Michelin PS 4. Comments welcomed prior to giving my highly subjective impressions.

Excellent. I love a new tyre day!
As the other two family vehicles are an EV and a camper van, they don’t come very often! I must remember to take it a bit easier around roundabouts for a while.
Nah! That’s half the fun
Also depends which EV you have, as a Tesla owning friend of mine recently discovered. Due to accessing the instant torque from a standstill on perhaps a few too many occassions, I don’t think he’s replaced a set of tyres so quickly in his life…
Aah, that new tyre feeling when the treads are still covered in mould oil and the thing is squidging round all over the place til you’ve done at least a thousand miles …yeah…
I nearly died driving out of the garage road, zero grip powerslide
I love mine. Went up a size too so they seem more comfortable than the old 205 falkena that were on before.
Had both on my ND, highly recommend both. For me I think the PS4 edges it but it costs more, so I’ve had F1 AS6 last few times.
“few times”; how many miles are you getting?
If there’s one thing this forum and FB have taught me, my driving experience is not representative of the average. Everyone banging on about getting 42-43 mpg, I’ve averaged 37.6 mpg over 79,000 miles of 2.0 ND driving (I log everything in Fuelio).
Without digging through things I can’t be sure on life, but rekon I manage 10000ish miles on the back axle and probably 18000 on the front - whether it was Michelin or Goodyear. Falkens went 20% further but weren’t very good after the first few thousand miles so I never bought them again, found them a bit scary towards the end! My current AS6 are on 8500 miles front and rear and neither ready to be swapped yet.
One of the biggest factors in tyre wear is suspension alignment.
Wow, very similar to mine, 225/45 17" here. IMO 225 is a size too large for 170 ish horsepower, lost too much torque on wheels, mine also tend to overheat quickly on track.
215/45 sounds much more reasonable, they are great in wet, hope you enjoy
I get where you are coming from. 215 were fine with 180bhp, now turbocharged and you need the 225
In various tests the PS4 is better on dry and EF1s better on wet roads.
