New Mazda warranty 6 years/100000 miles from September onwards

As per the title please note Mazda are changing new car warranties from 1st September to 6 years (100000 miles) from the current 3 years. If you are awaiting delivery it’s well worth holding off til then (of course it will be the newest 75 plate too).

Excellent piece of news.
Thanks for informing.

It’s a huge positive, especially as Toyota offer 10 years and other competitors offer 5/7 years.

However, as someone who has heavily modified a new MX-5, I would have to reconsider that decision for a longer warranty (mute point as new cars have an ecu that can’t be updated right now).

Good for Mazda too, to keep punters using their dealer network for servicing. I know you don’t have to, but it’s the best way not to have arguments with Mazda over any claims.
