Hi everyone, so this is our first ever MX-5, a 08 NC 1.8 Niseko, and our first ever sports car. We’ve only had her for just over a week, bought from a fellow member and genuinely nice fella, and now we understand what all the hype and enthusiasm is about! She’s been well cared for, so no pressure lol! But we’re sure the good people at MX Heaven will keep us on the straight and narrow. We’ve already learnt how to clear the drainage channels, and remove a blocked drainage pipe thanks to the recent edition of STHT!

Welcome from North Yorkshire Chris. A previous 1.8 SoftTop Niseko owner here from 2011 - 2020. It was still on original battery when sold, and only issue during the 9 years of all year round use was a sticking a front caliper, which was easily fixed. I also sealed the scuttle grommets before they began to leak (a well known fault of which you’reprobably aware). Always loved the colour, and still do. Now an ND owner.

Thanks for the welcome! Yes, when we first saw it we fell in love with the colour, and we really like the brown leather interior too. Yep, the front scuttle grommets are on my ilst of things to investigate asap!

Thanks E10. She’s really pretty, I like your alloys, and what colour is that? Also, what exhaust have you got on her - it looks nice and shiny even without being washed! 
The alloys were on the car when I bought it. They look OEM, but the number on the side (KBA 51580)indicaties that they are from Itwheels model Alice. They are standard Silver, but on the picture with brakedust accents. The colour of the car is Galaxy Grey.
The exhaust is the Stainless Steel Sport Rear Silencer from I.L.Motorsport.
