New Member (Arizona)

Hi all

New to this so sorry if this is rubbish!

Bought a mk 2.5 arizona last year from a lovely old gent in my home town of Nuneaton. 22000 miles and not altered at all. I think it is pretty good but don’t have a measuring stick to judge it against so will turn up at a meet soon to let others educate me.

Cheers

Welcome aboard Crofty.

Your car certainly looks good on my screen.

At 22k it should be a beauty.

As you spend more time on here you’ll learn that corrosion is likely to be your car’s biggest nemesis.

If it hasn’t been corrosion protected then I‘d encourage you to look into that asap.

Otherwise she should be pretty reliable and last you as long as you desire. Regular servicing is obviously a must but other than that it’s just about getting out and having fun in the sun.

Here’s to many miles of top down smiles.

Cheers,

Guy

Being serviced today at Sam Goodwins by Steve who has looked after it for a good few years now.
I re-did the underseal last year and it’s garaged and cosseted like a new-born
Went to Cornwall last summer and am due to go around Yorkshire dales in May.
Thanks for advice and good wishes :+1:

Nice. My first ever ride in an MX-5 was as a passenger in an '02 plate Cal. Still remember it to the day and how it felt different (being lower down etc) to a 'normal car.
