Yes, the sound system is great, I really like the weird colour seats and the special edition 16" alloys.
As with all MX5 hunting - there is a version that you will like and if it floats your boat, then go for it! Whether it’s a special edition or a bog standard, you will still enjoy driving it.

Yesterday I became the proud owner of a '53 plate 1.8 Sport in BRG - drives and stops well, needs a bit of ‘fettling’ here and there, but otherwise sound as a pound.
Oh and his name is Bob - I haven’t figured out how to post photo’s yet, but when I do you’ll see why he’s called Bob

you will have hours/days/years of fun in your 5, just like you did on the bikes (except you will always have a fab heater to keep you warm on those horrible winter nights)

The heater has already proved its worth today - although it was dry and warm it was a little chilly after the sun went down.
I won’t be getting wet either and 4 wheels on the road are much safer than 2 (according to my wife anyway)
I have few technical questions - what is the best forum for those?
Also how do you get the picture of your car on the bottom of your post Joe?

start looking at the technical area & FAQs. then the headings below that

for pics at bottom; go to my profile at top of your page then go to my signature then fill in whatever you fancy. i recall there is a limit to the amount of text you can put there
put some pics on photobucket or similar site, then post from there into the forum section you want.
there are detailed instructions somewhere on this forum but you’ll need to do a search (top right of page)

Yup well pleased and grinning like an idiot every time I look at it and drive it!
I was going to to do the 3 Counties run next Sunday but I’m working all day.
