Hi, recently joined and have a NB 2.5 Navara.
Had a few Mx-5’s in the last 20 years.
Look forward to getting involved with meets in the Cornwall area.
Sister lives in Gulval…shortly movi ng to a retirment complex in Falmouth. Not seen her in 23 years(!) but flying down this summer for a big dinner reunion. Cornwall is bloody breathtaking…canny wait. Great 5 twisties.
Get it ramped and get the engine bay chassis rails checked out, plus rear sills/ arches when you have time. You might thank me later. They can rot like dissolving aspirins if ignored. Feel free to ignore me as well.!!
Thanks, I’m currently going over all the potential rot areas, and will try to get on ramps to check.
Congrats on getting a beautiful MX-5 NBFL Navara, met up with members of Cornish 5’s on a couple of occasions they are a welcoming active bunch. Wishing you many smiles per mile
Greetings Mixsea

I concur with Scottish Fiver re chassis rails/sills/arches as have had to spend some pennies on Bullit re this. [Especially after she lived in Whitby within yards of the North Sea 2007-2010 just after I purchased her and other times I neglected her due to ‘Life, the Universe and Everything’ ]
But expect as you’ve had a few MX-5’s over the years you already know this and thank you for taking on an NB 2.5
Meanwhile [aged 67 yrs in April] and can’t remember exactly what I did yesterday
I remember Cornwall even though I was aged only 4-8 years when my late father was stationed at RAF St. Eval.
I can see it as if it was yesterday…St. Ives, Mawgan Porth and we used to get fish n chips from St.Columb every Friday
I have B&W photos of us and extended family at Lands End
[Indeed …just dug out an old photo album with school reports/photos ‘Trevisker County Primary School’…dates 1962-66]
Very fond childhood memories of Cornwall…you lucky devil to be living there now !!
Welcome
Hi. Bullit2005,
My Dad was stationed there during WW2…
Hi Mixsea
In that case
