Hi Rich,

Yes, I’m thoroughly enjoying it thanks.

I am using it all year although much less in the winter but enough to justify applying protection. I’ll investigate further but I don’t have access to a lift so I might look to getting it done professionally.

Thanks for replying.

If you have the time and the space it’s a good summer DIY job. I have a pair of Sealey low profile drive on ramps, about £70. Some lanoguard, or waxoyl spray or Bilt Hamber dynax.

It’s a messy job, but satisfying.

A good pro job is probably £300 or so

What a great read!
Buying a Mazda and loving it but wondering about its history and along comes the previous owner to reveal it. That must give great satisfaction to the new owner. Enjoy your car.

To complete the story I had the BBR Super 190 fitted, which gave me exactly what I wanted - sounds more rorty, better throttle response and just a bit more power. Just need better weather now!

So if it was making 10 bhp more than stock, it must be pushing 200 bhp now?

194 at the last count, which suits the nature of the car yet isn’t OTT.

I bet the power to weight ratio is almost as good as your old Boxster?

Pictures please of the exhaust and other components!

I hadn’t thought about that but you’re probably about right.

I’ll have to take some photos!
