New to owning an mx5, worked on friends for many years. Keen on DIY and bought a mk1 1991 Eunos for a 2nd car that i intend to be a 50/50 track car, that was a good basis to build from.
Going to probably make a build thread, bought in sept 2021, so quite alot has happened the past year and a half but this winter really kicked it into gear.
Previously ive owned a gt86 which died an early death with bottom end knock at 68k miles! And was only 8 years old.
Daily drive a mk5 golf gt tdi, which gets the essential maintenance/servicing by myself as the rest goes on the mx5 project!
Welcome Sam. So, you are right in the middle of the North East Midlands (NEM) area, which is very active with lots going on. Why not pop over to our monthly meet at the Coopers Arms, Weston-on-Trent on the last Thursday of each month for a chat.
Thanks! Ive actually been too a few last year, but only one in the mx5, i go with the Rolls-Royce Employees Motor Club. Ill attend a few more this year, whens the first thursday?
