New Mohair roof from Mazmania

Just had a new roof fitted by Mazmania and very pleased with the high quality roof and the general service. 

After spending a lot of time exploring the options having put off purchasing a torn roof for a year I took the plunge and contacted Peter of Mazmania in Knutsford.

They have designed a lovely Mark 3 roof for mark1 and 2s. It is a jet black mohair and looks fantastic when fitted. I am told the quality is the same found on Bentlys and happily accept this. 

We arrived at the farm and Peter dropped us in Knutsford a lovely town with great restraunts and shops.

A few hours later he phoned to say the roof was fitted and was on his way to collect us.

The roof is simply stunning. Noise has reduced very noticably. Put the car through a car wash today and not a drip came through.

Agree 100%  mohair tops and car washes should never meet.  I would go further, cars and car washes should never meet.  The brushes are akin to flails.  Matt finish paint is the inevitable result.

 I had one fitted by Mazmania about 5 years ago.  It still looks great and doesn’t leak.  I put a bit of bit of cleaner on the plastic windscreen occasionally and polish it off and I can see though it as if its new.  It makes a real difference to the look of the car.
