just registered and looking forward to buying my first MX5 in the next few weeks. Thinking of an ND 15,16,17 ish…
I live in the North East and often see groups of MX5’s on the back roads near Alston, Hartside etc. so might even catch some of you in the summer.

Go and try a few locally, see what you think. 1.5 or 2.0, soft top or RF - plenty to think about and get the one that’s right for you.

Good Luck with your search, having run NA’s and NC’s since 1997, I’m now looking for an ND for summer use only.
Have been looking with a max budget of £14K for a few months now. A lot of cars out there with part service history and not well cared for at all.
I just need to find a genuine well cared for car. Not an easy task.
That’s pretty much where I am now. Seems to be a lot out there with pretty poor history. I was thinking about looking into the online history thing as it’s possible some cars may have more history than the sellers can actually show???
Don’t overlook Mazda Approved. Possibly a bit late to secure a bargain but there can be deals to be had out of season.
I do prefer a Mazda approved car, with the 12 month Mazda warranty plus 12 months AA cover.
I have been keeping a close eye on the Mazda Approved, there are three Mazda dealerships within a 25 mile radius of where I live. Very few MX5’s for sale at present, the ones that are for sale are £20k plus which is over my budget for a summer use car only.
Will just monitor their websites and see what turns up.
