Hi, finally decided to get off the car lease treadmill and get something affordable and fun.
Picked up from Pitlane Performance at opposite end of the country (live in Cheshire) but very happy with what I have, a 2012 2.0 Venture PHRT with 44k on the clock.
Its on a sorn currently until my last pcp ends in March and then fingers crossed we start to see signs of spring.
Will be looking for advice on where to get services like undersealing done from the many members around the area.

Similar car here , 2010 NC 3.5., but it’s a soft-top.
61K - bought in Preston with 18 miles on the clock in Dec 2010 - and it’s a keeper.
It lives in a garage, and the guy that services it for me advised, because it looked good underneath- to get it under sealed to keep it that way……
Good advice which was followed in June 2021 -steam-cleaned underneath followed by full undersealing.
Off to the Algarve in the NC in June , via Rosslare/Bilbao.

Hi, I am sure that you will enjoy your MX-5 as much as I do mine. I have a 2011 2.0 SE Roadster Coupe in copper red which I have owned for exactly 8 years. I bought it through MX-5 specialist CBS Autos in Nelson Lancashire (Carl advertises in the MX-5 Owners Club magazine and customers go to him from a wide area).
My car was a Mazda demonstrator and I am the second owner. It only had 18500 miles on the clock when I purchased it and has only covered approx. 41000 miles now. It is much admired. I am 78 and can just about manage to get into the car but once I’m in I’m fine. I love driving it on the byways of Lancashire and the Yorkshire Dales.
My first sports car was a 2001 MX-5 iSOLA which I bought from CBS in 2013 for £2300 and sold in 2017 to a buyer from Wiltshire for only slightly less!

Welcome along hope you enjoy the car
I bought an immaculate 2014 Recaro edition last year from a forum member (thanks again MickAP). It was already under sealed so that was one less thing to do.
I did take it over to Roddisons in Sheffield to have the ride height adjusted, get it balanced and have the gear box and dif oil changed. A bit of a trek from Macclesfield where I am but I can certainly recommend them. Pick a nice day and it’s a lovely drive.
I grin like a Cheshire cat every time I get in and drive it (which isn’t as often as I’d like).
