After much admiring of the MX-5 I have finally jumped in and got myself a new toy for some fun.
Having never owned one before I wasn’t sure what I was looking for but I settled on this mainly due to the colour, yes I’m as easily please as that, just ask my wife!
And after owning it for only 2 days I can honestly say I haven’t stopped smiling yet and like with anything, I have now got the bug on what I can do to make it that little bit better.

You could lower the suspension. The early cars sat higher than the later ones.
Unless you fancy trialing, or live in an area with aggressive speed humps.
Welcome to MX-5 ownership. The spending doesn’t stop with the purchase price! I’ve done all sorts of simple things to mine, clear side repeaters, front fog lights, variable speed wipers, new stereo, reversing camera, stumpy aerial…
Funny enough that is the first big job on the list, once I’ve earned enough brownie points with the misses 
I’ve just been looking at a new aerial and maybe a new stereo but going to get the few cosmetic issues sorted first as there is a tiny rust bubble on the rear arch and a massive scrape on the rear bumper.
However I have spent more on my dream list for future upgrades than I have on the car already 
Don’t worry I’ve spent more than double the purchase price on mine (but I did get it cheap and needing a few scrapes sorting)
