Hi I live in Plymouth and have Just joined the Club. Purchased my first MX-5 just recently from a Private seller in Honiton 2008 1.8 62,000 miles initial inspection all looks good and car drives really well . Would be nice to meet some of you at Breakfast meet on the 22nd June and discuss if my initial thoughts are right. George ( just to say not me doing Donuts ha ha )

Thanks we’ve had some good weather and had some nice days out. Its not a bad looking car few age related marks here and there but mainly I think it looks really good underneath. Will be nice to meet up with some of the club soon and get their thoughts find out the hidden places to look !!

If you want to lose that high-riding look the early Mk3’s have there’s plenty of suggestions for replacement shocks or lowering springs in the forum. Mine has MeisterR ZetaCRD coilovers for adjustable ride height and damping and are a popular choice. With a 30mm or so drop the wheels sit in the arches a lot more naturally.
