Some good roads in S. Bedfordshire - especially round the downs and the Greensand Ridge
So just booked a short trip to France on Le Shuttle, never explored northern France or driven there.
Plan is visit Le Touquet for a night then wander down to Mont Saint Michel via some of the Normandy war memorial sites.
Any advice or tips as to where to stay?
Obviously looking for nicer roads that the motorway/toll roads, any advice on where to go and on which routes?
We’ve done quite a few weekends around the Normandy area in the past.
Honfleur is always worth a visit.
We’ve stayed here before.
If you’re into WW2 places to visit, the museum at Arromanches is well worth a visit.
