new wheels

Found them on ebay… and the seller was well interested in swapping with original MX5 wheels
So I offered him if he would be interested in swapping with my original wheels, surprisingly he said YES!

so here they are, I think they are special edition from a non-UK model but I can’t recall what they are, I think they are 500 sets limited and never been properly been imported in UK
they are not in perfect condition, kerbed in 3 of them… I wish I have more time before the spring rally but I don’t, so be prepared to see kerbed wheels on my car this Sunday!

Anyone wants my OZ superturismo? 2 are quite badly kerbed (but not deep) and 2 are ok but still kerbed

i seen these on sky tv last night on deals on wheels he was doing up a blue mk1 g plate uk mx5 1600 he paid then £300

a bit of google and comes up with this…

"These are the rims from the Japanese Spec NR-A 2002 Mazda Roadster,
from everything i have read there was less than 500 of the
(Lightweight) NR-A Roadsters made, and they were never exported. This
rim setup was a factory Upgrade From Mazda Japan!!

The rims are Mazda Factory 15" Enkei RP02-J’s Painted in a Pearl White
with Metallic Flake. The size is 15x7 (PCD 4-100) & 41 offset
(Perfect for Miata) They are light too!! Notice the infamous “Enkei”
Brand logo, Yummy!

Notice the sharp looking OEM Mazda Logo in the center cap!! Very Trick!! All Mazda Baby!!!"

So they are from a 2002 NR-A? what exactly is NR-A?

What size are the Ozs? I can’t quite make out the tyre writing.

195 15

If you want them I can send you some better pics[:)]

If you would please.

I am assuming they came straight off your car so no prablems with offset?

Cheers.

Jon

OZ wheels are 108 PCD judging by his other thread - so they won’t fit an MX5.

The white Mazda Enkei wheels are exactly the same as the set I have got, complete with the Enkei sticker.  Originally bought several years ago by the previous owner of my Roadster.  I have them fitted on Roadster currently but last year they were mostly on my MK2.5 Sport as below…

Ther rumour is that they were fitted to to a special edition when it was imported, the Angels I think, but Mazda UK didn’t like them for UK market so changed them all and they eventually all found their way on to ebay.  They are also featured on a Mazdaspeed brochure ( I thikn it is) as a sporty upgrade option.

Anyway, they are indeed a pearly white, and quite light… I like them…

As mentioned above the PCD is 108 not 100, so they wont fit straight onto a MX5
Or maybe there are some special technique which can make the PCD right on wheels or change PCD on your 5, I dont know

They will fit onto other cars though, if you are still interested let me know and I will get few photos for you

Thanks for the details Martin

I think they are the best wheels with Mazda logo you can get, light weight + good size. And they are white!!
I have just refurbished them and they are now white not pearl white [:(] oh well still looks better than kerbed white!
