New Yorkshire Ridings member

Hi all, I’ve never been part of a members group before so all this is new to me.
I went to the garage to purchase a Honda S2000 and came away with a 300bhp MX5 NC
Test drive had me in seconds it was 20 mins of non stop smiles. I can’t wait to get involved in some events and meet other members and learn more about what I’ve gotten myself into! I’m at the motorist most weekends with my little boy so if you ever see me there please come say hi. I want to get to know the car for the first few months and then keen to get some track days in. I will definitely see some of you on some of the Yorkshire ridings events. I pick her up on Saturday and can not wait!

Hi,
Welcome to the MX5OC and YR area.
Your BBR Turbo MX5 looks lovely. Do you have a list of the BBR modifications made to your car?
Have you seen the MX5 YR area web site https://mx5yorkshire.co.uk/, which includes lists of future local events?
The MX5 Owners Club Yorkshire Ridings use a Facebook group to communicate.
I’ll look out for your special car and will give you wave, but don’t tend to venture out of East Yorks in my Mk2.5 MX5.
George

I’m just looking at the Newby Hall show now. May be my first event.

Lovely. Looking car you have there - inside and out. I did have a ride in a 300bhp BBR a couple of weeks ago (as a passenger) - my word, they are quick.

Welcome to the club from a former S2K owner - I definitely prefer my MX-5 (apart occasionally missing the VTEC sound!)
