Prospective NC owner here - looking at the moment, seen a few about but currently in the ‘dealer or private’ dilemma. Hoping for a nice NC2 hardtop with cruise. Keeping an eagle eye out here and scouring websites…

A lot of cars around your way. Plenty just fun for the weekend so should be low mileage and aren’t hugely bothered whether to get the best price because their life doesn’t depend on it.
That’s my fantasy anyways….
There are, but prices are very variable. Some private are less than dealers, some more… I’ll keep looking for a nice solid example!

I agree with BigGee1, they are out there. I spent 2 years looking for a 2 Litre Powershift that had not been abused, or modified and found one in Buckinghamshire 18 months ago.
It was a minter being owned by a lady with only 18.5k on the clock. Its a beautiful drive and
so planted on the road and very economical, compared to my Mk1.
So, be patient and you you will find one😉
