Newbie in N Devon - Just starting out

Hi everyone!

Just like to introduce myself to the group as I’Ve just starting my search for a little bit of weekend fun, now the kids have graduated from uni!

I’m not into modding or pimping my ride, but am looking for something a little more refined, so ideally I’d like a Mk 3 2.0 Sport from my £5k budget (although I could squeeze a few scheckles more for the perfect one!). I’d also prefer somethin fairly up together as I’m not brilliant with spanners (but willing to learn!)

If anyone has any hints, tips, recommends or hear/see any possible examples that might fit the bill, please let me know!
