What a beauty, you have found a cherished car that should serve you well, now get out there and have fun
Cheers mate, I intend to
What a top result! Well done for persevering though, I’m not sure I’d be as disciplined, but it’s paid off in spades by looks of it - it’s a cracker. As pjr said, it looks like a rare cherished one. Great find!
Cheers Telly Addict. I just really went to see this one on a whim as I was expecting it to be poor, how old it was. So pleased I did. I think its as somebody mentioned in this thread, that not all dealers are equal. Hodgsons Mazda at Gateshead, Newcastle, were top-notch, compared to my previous experiences
I’m certainly no expert on these cars, but I would suggest to anybody buying one, to keep looking as there are loads of them for sale. A good one will turn-up eventually.
Glad someone else doesn’t like all this electronic crap, I bought the basic mk4 just a radio & I pod connection. Got it all on the Kuga and used it twice last month! Can’t manage driving fast and sending e mails at the same time!
smashing looking motor, or maybe I’m a bit biased…
Another true red.
Looks good.
Looks like you got a high result there; worth being patient.
Nice motor, just like mine. What suspension has it got fitted, as it looks lower?
everyone has their own idea as to the best colour - velocity red is my favourite! I reckon you could get a decent 5 for a sight less than 10k. and use the rest of your budget on fuel and get driving!
I bought my baby from ebay. Mk3 LE 10 years old now. I wouldnt necessarily recommend it (eBay) but I got very lucky!
good luck and welcome to the fold - maybe see you at the Spring Rally?
