Newby intro

Hi All,

Just bought my mothers MK1 Eunos, a 1993 car imported to UK in '95 and bought by my dad for mum in '98. Always garaged, the car did 7 miles last year to the MOT garage and back!

78k miles, hard top, Wolfrace 17" alloys which dad put on years ago (have original wheels which I fitted to my Suzuki Carry Van), tonneau, hard top, Aircon etc. Drives spot on and tight as a drum - never raced or rallied (mum’s 79 now) and no rips or tears to hood or interior. Very original car and my wife and I love it!

Having a full service and aircon re-gas this week and then planning a road trip through France and maybe down to Italy during the summer.

Looking forward to meeting other owners at certain meets/shows also. Based in Surrey.

Great cars…smiles of fun

Welcome aboard Cockers, your car looks a little beauty.
Love those wheels. There aren’t many 17" wheels that look this right on an NA, nice one.
It would great to see more of your car when you get a chance and hope you’ll share your continental adventures with us too.
All the best,
Guy

Very nice example and well looked after by your parents.:+1:
One negative, it’ll feel and look much better on 15’s, only my opinion of course.

So, have replaced the 7jx17" wolfrace alloys on my Mk1 NA with some XXR black chrome 7jx15" shod with 195/50/15 tyres…what a difference to the ride, feel and look!

No more feeling every bump or hole in the road, which are everywhere. Handles better and, I think, looks better…more in keeping albeit bigger than the original ‘Daisy’s’, which are on my Suzuki Carry van.

The 7jx17" Wolfrace are currently for sale on Ebay if anyone is interested, or contact me through here.

Also bought a Tonnau cover for when the roof’s down which visually makes a big difference. Well worth the money.

All the best.
