Night time drive - getting my mojo back

Harding used the motor over the summer period (shame on me!).
Decided to give “Mary” (20th Anniversary Edition) a good clean and take her for a spin. I’d forgotten how much fun she is. I’ve got my mojo back!

Good to hear you’ve blown your cobwebs away.
I work with a colleague who is keen to extol the virtues of night time driving but I’ve never done it as a thing.
Sure, I’ve been out as it’s become dark but I’ve never set off to drive in the dark.
For me, the appeal of top down motoring involves the sun.
What am I missing?
Perhaps my night vision is not good enough?
It would be interesting to hear everyone’s nocturnal experiences :+1:

Cheers,
Guy

It is a different experience; your senses seem hightened at night… everything turned up to 11, especially when snowing!

Some of my favourite drives in my NA were in the dark - roof down, woolly hat on, stars above, I really should do it in my NC2.

I find “chasing the sunset” sorta drives with the roof down or late at night drives to be my cup of tea. Not as many drivers on the road and places always seem to be quieter which means the nice twisty roads around me are alot of fun!

I agree.
Quiet, twisty roads and lanes at night time make for great fun! So glad I’m not alone.

Get out there!

Seems like I’m not alone in my love for night time driving. Give it a whirl!
