I’ve seen quite a few images of UK spec cars with clear front indicators and I think it looks good, but the trick of sticking the lights in the oven and opening them up to remove them seems like a faff. Is there no way of obtaining a set of genuine Niseko or Z-Sport headlight units since these models featured the clear indicators from stock? For example, if I were to have a Niseko and a headlight got damaged, surely a dealer would be able to get a new unit featuring the clear indicators, so would it be possible for a dealer to source a set for me even if I don’t have a Niseko/Z-Sport? Or is it too late now that they haven’t been in production for a number of years.
Cheers for the reply! I guess the next step is to ring up a dealer and ask them. Do you need a Niseko/Z-Sport Chassis number to be able to order though do you think?
If you’re going to spend the money and get new lights, then you might want to consider buying a Mk3.5 bumper (from a scrappie) and fitting the Mk3.5 headlights instead. They’re available with the clear indicator covers too.
I did actually consider this and totted up the cost of everything but it’s pretty expensive, as I’d need to buy the grill and foglight surrounds as well as the headlamps. And also I like the NC1 front end, I think it’s the best looking NC.
