I am looking at getting my car mapped but will miss out on switchable maps as I don’t have the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel.
Can I buy that cluster and add it to my car and have cruise control?
Yes, but try and find one first. They’re very rare and expensive.
Other than the buttons what else is required to install/retro fit cruise control to a mk3 ?

I guess one map will be enough, was hoping the standard steering wheel had the plugs dormant inside and it could just be plug and play.

Same for the bloody gearbox oil, you said sometimes castrol can make it worse and it did for mine 
Might need 2 liters of your own stuff!
