Just an update for everyone, our first monthly meet is looking to be extremely busy and as pervious years first monthly meets have seen upto 70 - 90 people attended we would highly recommend contacting the pub if you would like to eat on the night as it is looking to be a very busy night. Thank you for all your support and interest.
Myself and Katie look forward to welcoming you all back after our winter break.
After sometime moving to a different car now I have got back into another MX-5. We didn’t make the last meet due to recovering from a serious head on collision in our family car, almost killing both of us. Our family car was hit head on by a Ford ranger truck doing 50-60mph so our new family evoque has now gone to the car breakers in the sky, totally destroyed in the crash. We are both recovering from the injuries we received and my left ankle is not up to driving my new MX-5 yet but it’s getting better. We had a very close call and have not had a good 2026 so far.
Anyway the jag I bought was a huge money pit and I have off loaded that and bought a 2020 anniversary edition soft top in white. So proud to have found it and this morning I have rejoined the club and intend to start coming out again in the new car. Just a little more recovery time needed to get right but getting back to driving health. See you all soon.
