The Norfolk Five’s are going racing… well watching,

The Norfolk Five’s are going back to the Snetterton classics, this was a amazing event last year and a great chance to watch some historic cars racing around Snetterton, there will also be a host of classic cars and car clubs on display through the grounds. This was a new event we attended last year and we were all blown away by how good it was, watching old Mini’s racing against Ford Mustangs and the vintage Aston Martins & Jaguars were great, this was all finished off be the chance of a parade lap around Snetterton track itself resulting in the inner racing driver of us coming out all be it at 20 mph.

MEETING POINT

We will be meeting at McDonald’s Norwich road Hethersett NR93AU, please arrive from 8.30 to leave at 8.40. We will be driving the A11 if you live near Snetterton please join us on route or meet at Snetterton then we can drive in together and all park up together.

The event will include a three-hour showpiece from the Royal Automobile Club Pall Mall Cup, a race for pre-’66 GT cars and 1950s sports-racing machinery. Other highlights from the MRL portfolio include Pre-War Sports Cars, Pre-’63 GTs, the Historic Touring Car Challenge and the RAC Woodcote Trophy and Stirling Moss Trophy.

The line-up also includes three grids from the Historic Racing Drivers Club: Gerry Marshall Trophy, Allstars and Classic Alfas and the Jack Sears Trophy. GT4 Challenge completes the programme. The paddock will be open to all so spectators can get up and close to the race cars and their drivers.

Once free tickets are gone there will be a charge of £16.00 per person online, if purchased on the gate £19.00

A update for everyone Snetterton have now given the Norfolk Five’s 20 spaces to have a club display. If you would like a ticket please pm me then i can give you the code to get your ticket. This will also allow 2005 onwards MX5’s to be on the club stand

If things run to plan and the club get to do a lap of the circuit I’ll make sure I get a photo of everyone on track. Im snapping that day so Maisie won’t be there. I’ll be in Audrey ( the old Audi) to get around at the circuit. Will be a good meeting im sure. :ok_hand:
