It is with some sadness that I have to report the death of Norman Harris of Abertillery. Norman passed away suddenly on Thursday 2nd May at his home. Norman, along with Alison, has been a member of the South Wales area of the MX5 Owners Club for many years and enjoyed the company of like minded enthusiasts. For those of you who knew Norman , I’m sure you’ll agree with me that he was a true gent, always a friendly word and very courteous.
Our condolences go to Alison, Angela and Richard and their family.
The funeral is to be held on Thursday 15th May at 12.15pm at St Michaels Church, Abertillery NP13 1DA… Follow the A467 from M4 junction 28 or A465 Heads of the Valleys Road (Brynmawr roundabout). At the lights turn off and park nearby for Saint Michael’s, which is a short uphill walk away.
Internment is at Brynithel Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Brynithel, Abertillery, NP13 2AX.
Refreshments served at The Bridge End Inn, Abertillery, NP13 1JF, all are welcome.
