I’m sorry but we will have to consider ourselves subtracted, due to a mozzy bite we have had to put of a planned trip to Ashford till Sunday.
What a fantastic day for a run.
I was expecting 8 cars at the pub and maybe a few dropouts because of the football, but people just kept turning up. It was great to see some new faces too.
It was reasonably quiet at Uncle Tom’s so no problem parking and getting an ice cream. The tea rooms at the end were almost deserted too.

I was at the Classic and Retro show for an hour or so this morning in Rochford and met a couple of nice owners club people.

Thanks for organising a really enjoyable day, we both thoroughly enjoyed it. On the drive out, we were the last but one car. Going through the lanes and fields near Gt Wakering, all we could see going off into the distance were MX5’s.

It was me you were parked next to yesterday at the Rochford Classic Car show! Assuming you mean the blue 10th Anniversary MX? Shame we could’nt have all been together on the ‘main’ field!
Had a great day there with some really interesting/nice stuff (Ferrari Enzo, James Bond 007 Aston DB5, Buggati Type 35 etc etc etc)! Hope to see you around soon (give us wave)!
