Oh brilliant! Well you’ll enjoy whatever daylight we have, I’m sure!
White is a good survival colour for the gloomy months ahead. As bright as a Barn Owl at dusk:)
You’re right Beryl, not that I had a lot of choice of colours to go at, what I noticed under the showroom lights was an almost pearlescent effect, not sure what the Mazda colour actually is?
Cheers Al
I’m not a fan of white in any form but I do think it suites the ND. There is a NC in white for sale locally and it just doesn’t work for some reason.
I’m not a fan of the Targa look with hood down ( blind spots etc) but it’s very handsome hood up I have to say.
The RF probably is marmite to a lot of Mazda owners/purists, It does remind me a lot of my old MR2 GT, especially the sloping rear pillars. Definitely not going to give the full topless driving experience but I love the ‘coupe’ looks and practicality when the hoods up, specially coming into winter and hoping to drive in just about all weather
Can’t argue with that. It’s a lovely looking car.
First run out today, roof down glorious! Impressed by the power, roads a bit green in places so steady away on corners, all in all big smiles all round
Great pics Al. Glad you had a great run out and enjoyed the car. Going for a spin to Whitby tomorrow.
Rgds,
Gordon.
Some nice skies too! Sunny Saturday in west cornwall so everyone was out and about…
Welcome to the club enjoy your Ride….from a fellow highly modified RX/8 owner………and now sports nav+ owner
Welcome.
Great pics. looking good.
My mate has this year’s similar gunmetal- such a lovely car.
We take turns as to whose car we go in - best of both!!
You and your lady will enjoy it - looks as if you are already.
Happy MX-5ing.
Thanks Gordon, have a great run to Whitby, I was debating Whitby today, but left it a little late, weather looking good, enjoy
@Beryl , thanks, make the most of
Thanks @exiled-viking , plan on taking the son in law out and letting him have his first experience of the ‘5’ tomorrow
Thanks @elaine-mccarthy , wife not overly keen on my driving style from her memories of my lotus 7 (Westfield) days, but working on it
Hi Al,
Beautiful day in Whitby today. Was a bit chilly on the way there, but warmed up nicely by 11ish and top down all the way back to Bradford.
Saw a group MX5s, out for a run, in Scarborough.
Rgds,
Gordon.
Lovely looking car, white is my preferred colour although they’re all nice.
Welcome to a great community, a plethora of knowledge is available from these guys hopefully not your first wave and not your last
Sounds a cracking day Gordon, what route back did you take? Through the wolds or A64?
Thanks @Squibnocket1, good to be part of the community
Came back on the A64 as i had to be back for a meeting. Was tailgated for 40 miles by a Suzuki Alto in Hammerite Puce Green.
