Northern Ireland AGM

It has been agreed to hold the NI MX-5 AGM on 9 November at the Civil Service Pavillion at 7:30pm.
This is always an important meeting, but this year it is even more so.
If you were at the last Club meeting on 21 September you will be aware that Peter and I have confirmed that we will be standing down as AC’s at the end of this year. Peter has held this position for 5 years now and my intention was only ever to step back in (having previously done this job for 13 or so years) to fill the vacancy that Trina left and to support Peter until the end of his tenure.
We will need someone else now to “step up to the plate” to take on this role. It is probably a role for 2 people to fill, which would help to share the duties and to provide support for each other. Ideally you will need to be reasonably computer literate but above all it would be good to bring along a few fresh ideas and have plently of enthusiasm.
Please have a think about this and if you are interested contact either of us for advice and if there are a number of potential takers – this can be put to the vote at the AGM.
