Since first floating this holiday suggestion.
We now have enough firm interest to go ahead and have firm details planned for us by Scenic Car Tours.
The details are:
6 day/5 night tour from Thursday 20th – Tuesday 25th June 2024
· Return Ferry Crossing from Holyhead to Dublin
· 3 nights at The Lodge Hotel, Coleraine
· 2 nights at The Titanic Hotel, Belfast
(This is the opposite way around from the estimate Belfast/Coleraine due to room availability at the preferred hotels). But still should work well to see and do as much as possible in the time we have.
· Breakfast included each morning at the hotels
· 3 dinners included
- 2 at The Lodge Hotel, on the first and last night
- 1 at The Titanic Hotel, on the last night
· Evening meals provided will be a 3 course meal with at least 2 options per course – if everyone is dining together each evening, the hotel may propose a fixed menu i.e. the same menu for everybody, if they feel it will ensure a good standard of service
· 1 route guide, per car, which will feature details and maps on attractions and places of interest
· 1 rally plaque, per car – tailored to MX5 North East
· 24 hour out of hours helpline whilst on the tour

£849.00 per person in a car and bedroom (based on 2 persons sharing in a car/bedroom throughout the tour –£1698.00 per couple)
£1198.00 per person in a car and bedroom on their own throughout (£500.00 reduction VS total ‘2 person’ price) ** If you state your membership number on booking, you will receive a £50.00 discount**

Ann and I are putting together a 5/6 nights trip to Northern Island, our own ‘North East Midlands’ group tour organised for us through Scenic Car Tours.
At the moment it is in the early planning stages and no fixed dates, hotels, etc are booked.
We have spoken to Kieran at Scenic Car Tours and he has put us a preliminary package together for us with Estimated Costs etc.
As of today, we are trying to see if we can get enough interest to make this possible?
We need a minimum of five to six cars and will take a maximum of 12.
Please register your interest as soon as possible so that Kieran can start reserving rooms etc for us.

This ballpark/estimated pricing is based on including ALL of the below items: -
• 6 day/5 night tour in June 2024, based on travelling out on a Wednesday and back on a Monday. Travel on different days may incur an additional supplement
• Outbound 0815-1145 Irish Ferries from Holyhead to Dublin
• Inbound 1430-1800 Irish Ferries from Dublin to Holyhead
• 2 nights accommodation at Titanic Hotel Belfast (or similar)
• 3 nights accommodation at Lodge Hotel Coleraine (or similar)
• Onsite car parking at all hotels (Parking in Belfast is over the road in the Titanic Museums underground public car park – secure with barriers and CCTV – payable locally/directly at the car park at approx. £15 per night )
• Buffet Breakfast each Morning – 5 x breakfasts in total
• 3 x evening meals – on arrival in Belfast and Coleraine, and on the last night in Coleraine
• Evening meals provided will be a 3 course meal with at least 2 options per course – if everyone is dining together each evening, the hotel may propose a fixed menu i.e. the same menu for everybody, if they feel it will ensure a good standard of service
