During last week, got a call “anyone fancy a picnic?” so a few of us decided to brave the A11 and go to Oxburgh Hall which is about 17 miles south of Kings Lynn.
Coming up from Cambridge (2 cars) the A505/A11/A134 was surprisingly quiet and stress free - which, if you know the A11, is not always the case.
We had a nice picnic in the shade, a walk around the gardens in almost all shade, a very good cup of coffee under a big parasol - so got the beautiful weather without being burnt to a crisp!
Unfortunately, we couldn’t park the cars in the shade . . .
