Hello everybody
On my MX5 the front numberplate is on the front. I would like to change and move it to the side (like this: http://www.driversgeneration.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/Mk1_MX5.jpg)
How could I remove the holes from the front bumper?

You could just fill the holes with the plate fixings as i did to mine
It would depend on your colour of car and wether you wanted black/white or painted fixings.
It also depends on how many holes are behind the plate, the car i have now has that many that i will have to fill and paint it, because its a mess at the moment.
The pic shown is of my first car and i want to do the same to the one i have now.

To paint it is enough if I buy a primer, the matching colour and a lacquer, and polish it just on the holes. Or i need to repaint the whole bumper

Those holes are so small you’d probably be ok with a touch-up…I certainly wouldn’t do the whole bumper, just mask it very close, quick spray over then polish it up…
Alternatively, one of these ‘chips away’ type guys wouldn’t want much to quickly spray them up if you want a really good finish.
Did mine with filler and touch up paint, although the car is green so a fairly forgiving colour. Worth a try first, then if not happy you can take more drastic action!
