I went to my first meeting with the MX5 Owners Club - North West last night. What a great bunch, I was made very welcome. From my first impressions the emphasis seems to be on touring rather than techie maintenance etc. I’ve been a member of a few car clubs over the years and it does seem a bit special. Like all these things it is about making the effort and as a new member it is up to me to integrate and accept their ways (I’m the newcomer).
Hopefully I’ll get out on a few runs this year and attend a few meetings (time permitting).
I do like doing a bit of maintenance myself, if you are in the North West (Bolton) area don’t hesitate to contact me… so I can learn from you: )
