My model of MX-5 is: nd 2019. only had the car a couple of months decided to give her a oil change didn’t know what oil was in there. I do now shell helix 5/30 I am sure the engine is slightly quieter but I expect that’s my imagination. got the filter from mx5 parts got to be the cheapest place to buy genuine filters
Its a good idea and rather easy to change the rear differential oil too.

The gear box would also appreciate some nice new oil as well. (Not quite as easy as the diff, but not overly difficult)
You can’t beat a bit of preventative maintenance.
