Well from someone who isn’t a fan of most modifications I actually think it looks better. I’d either use black tape or a bin bag to cover it and see it in the flesh first then wrap it.

I had one of those, a white viva saloon. The gear selection was awful, wouldn’t go into gear and got worse not better (unlike the NC 6 speed) when warm.
I part exchanged it for a 2.3 Victor.
