there are now nightbreaker plus, so don’t buy the plain nightbreaker.
plus have improved resiliance and slightly better distance. cant reccommend these enough as a h4. however, price wise thats how much they cost, they dont seem to be around at a cheaper price. really the older nightbreaker should be cheaper now if you are seeing them.
i can’t see why you would want to do the main beam? dipped yes, that will make a huge difference, is your main beam that bad? .

ps sorry no caps due to forum not liking my blackberry
Do you not think the fitting of these very bright bulbs is a danger to other drivers.I find they quite often dazzle, especially when driving low cars like the MX5,either when meeting cars on a bridge or rise in the road,or when cars are close behind.
Tut I purchased my nightbreakers when they first came out for my MKI, hunted high and low for a decent price back then (two years, ish ago?)and now they are 50% cheaper as well as 90% more light on the street.
Hi Reg, I have these Osram Nightbreaker bulbs in non E-marked PIAA lamps on my Eunos, no-one has ever complained about them being too bright in fact I have had the car follow me in our other MX5 and they are no problem in the mirrors.
The big dazzle problem on the roads is the fitment of Micky Mouse aftermarket Xenon lamps which have very poor aim and no-self levelling mech fitted
Thanks for the replies, how do you tell the zenon lights from the extra bright bulbs?I agree with the comment about badly set lights,as sometimes one is a lot higher than the other,so obviously not right.
