Went up Oulton Park today with a few mates… first track I’ve ever actually been to and had an awesome day (defiantly going again) and was nice to meet some of the other owners and have a chat.

The race days are great days out. Saw you around the circuit followed by your pal in his focus. Next one is at Croft in September.
Yeah was a good day and thank god it only started raining once i got back and the car was back in the unit.
Got lost on the way up trying to follow two satnavs and neither took us to the right place, had to stop and ask a local for directions 
we were also there; what a fab day & the weather was hot/sunny & the racing was fandabidosy,

I was between the red Audi TT soft top & the other red Mk3 next to the Foggerty moss centre overlooking cascades; perfect viewing…
the chap in the mk3 moved off early in the afternoon.
Ah I might have seen you then, did a sweep of the area to have a look at the cars, My friends misses that was in the focus knows the track well so she was instructing us around the place from behind.
He was going to bring my MK2 but was unable to get the day insurance unfortunately.
Probably wont be able to go to croft as I cant travel to far from the pub unless I have someone to look after it for me which is a shame but will defiantly look out for more local events
going to mallory Park next month; 27th.
cant do the OC national meet as I have a huge firework display the night before followed by alcohol so no drive the next day. shame.

Ah that’s shame - The pubs in Lilleshall at the bottom of the village not far from Telford in Shropshire.
I spend a lot of time in Much Wenlock so might make a visit sometime
Would be nice to have MX-5 owners here, we have a Triumph Club that come in every month for a meet-up in the back bar, would be nice to have a group in that i can actually relate to

got a bit wet in s/shropshire going home that evening… must remember to raise the hood occasionally.
I noticed him when we went passed he was sitting in the boot.
I know i had just put the MK1 back in the unit when it started thank god however had the MK2 outside with the hood down ready to nip out again so that was fun rushing to get that back up
Think im going back up there Saturday and Monday a few friends want to nip up so said i would go with hopefully the weather will be the same.
RELEH CNW area will have a stand overlooking Cascades.-Hissies we’re expecting about 30cars (45 Sunday when NWM join us) . A few f us camping for weekend as well. Ì saw you last we ( was in silver mk1 at cascades) Please do drop in and say hello you’ll be made welcome?
