December Social Meeting 6:30 for 7:00
This months meeting is on Thursday December 1st, it should have been on the first Wednesday of the month, by changing it our events are not all on top of each other. My apologies to those members who are unable to attend on Thursdays due to personal commitments.
The Rockingham Arms are putting on a Turkey with trimmings main course which needs to be pre booked, so far 32 members have put their name down, the cost is £8.60

There will be a brief meeting after everyone has finished eating at about 8:15.

Meeting at Moorlands, Owler Bar, Sheffield S17 3BQ at 10:00 for 10:30, our route will take us south, mainly down the Derwent Valley, with a coffee stop north of Derby about one hour later
Experience a unique Christmas at Calke Abbey NT - the country house in decline.
Lights, shadows and whispers will bring alive Calke’s Christmas past as you explore the tunnels and catch a glimpse of the house.
As darkness falls experience Calke in all its twinkling glory.

Cost - Adults £3.60, children £1.80, members free.
Admission includes access to the Pleasure Grounds, tunnels and church, and will be charged at the park entry point.
