Hi

I’m looking to get a small amount of paint/dent repair work done on my MK3 2.0 Sport. The work required is to respray the underside of the boot lid (corrosion), dent removal from the rear nearside quarter panel (door ding) and general stone chip repair to the front.

I was recommend to give Mark Lifton - Paint & Body Services (Sheerness) a try but was wondering if anybody else had used him.

Also can anybody recommend any alternates that might be closer to Bromley (Kent).

I was quoted £300 for the work including polishing.

The price sounds about right, it would cost about that up here in North Yorkshire

Its always good to go with recommendations for repair works. Can’t help with other recommendations for your area though.

We recently paid £200 for a rear quarter repair, and I’ve just been quoted £100 to spray our new front bumper so £300 doesn’t seem unreasonable.
