Paint code location?

Hi all,

I am after the paint code for my 2003 angels edition, it’s red but can’t find code under bonnet (if it is on a plaque?) the vin plate on bulkhead just has chassis number and kerb weights, only other one I have found is on drivers door for tyre pressures.

think the colour is called eternal red from brochure?

The paint code on mine is on a sticker in the driver’s door shut and in the service record book.

I believe the Mazda colour code for Eternal Red is A3E.

White sticker with small print showing a lot of specs, near the bottom is the paint code, on the car, not the door Thumbs up.

Had a look again, only the anti tamper vin code on door shut and door no white label?

mine has had sills done, maybe sticker removed when repairs done?

Paint suppliers can use a gadget to read your colour and produce a matching paint, allows for any fading present also .

Hi everyone,I have a a question, my 2008 mk3 does not have the sticker on the door closure with the paint code on it. So how do I find out what the paint code is, it is anywhere else on the car please, thanks Sarah

Since 2004, Mazda computerised all information for cars they sold.  If you contact any Mazda main dealer with your registration number they’ll be able to tell you the colour and paint code for your car
