Does anyone in the midland area know a good PPF place but is cheap. I recently got my MK1 resprayed and after I did that I have had nothing but bad luck with scratches. If anyone know someone who can do it for less than £2,000 that would really help.
I know a firm used them now for 15 years but sorry there not cheep but not expensive either just depends on the work you want to get done……
could you tell me the firms name so i could have a look or as for a quote?

Another vote for Byron @ Top Wrapz. I haven’t had PPF work done by him and Neil, but they have ceramic coated four cars for me now and the results are always excellent.

I recently used a company called Project R in Wetherby. My car first had a full Level 2 enhancement detail, then full front end PPF (XPEL) and a full Fusion Plus 8 year ceramic coating. Total cost was £2496 incl VAT. They did a great job. They normally work on very high level cars such as McLaren’s, Lambo’s and the like but were quite happy to do my humble MX-5.
I had the same issue with my MX-5 and was desperate to find good paint protection film (PPF) that wouldn’t cost a fortune. Most places I looked into were way over my budget.
I eventually found a company that offered full vehicle coverage for £4,000. It was more than I wanted to spend, but they came highly recommended. The whole process took about a week. They were really thorough, explaining each step and ensuring the car was prepped properly before applying the PPF. When I got my MX-5 back, the difference was amazing. The film has been fantastic at preventing new scratches and keeping the paint looking fresh.
