I’m contemplating having PPE applied professionally, and would appreciate any comments from those who have done so.
If one can believe all the adverts it seems like a good idea, but are there any potential issues I should be aware of?
Many thanks.
Only the cost, it ain’t cheap.
if water get’s under the ppf then it will eat into the bodywork. once it’s under the ppf there is no where the water can go…
Saw a NC that had PPF on it which the owner removed as he was selling the car and wanted the new owner to see an unblemished front end. Sadly, the panels that hadn’t been protected had faded and he was left with a two tone car.
When I bought my 2010 NC 2 years ago, the previous and only owner had the front end done from new. The car when cleaned does look immaculate and the headlights look as new. However at some point it will surely start to lift as it’s not garaged and is used daily.
I think when you do something like this it’s the next owner who really gets the benefit.
Thanks for all the replies.
On balance, I think I’ll forgo the PPE and buy some touch-up paint instead…
