Another Brnd New Event For 2010!

The Eastern Region Breakfast Club Run

Kevin Allen’s concept is simple, relaxed and bound to be much more fun!

Meet up at suitable location at dawn, decide where to go, then drive the best of the regions roads for a few hours, afterwards find a good cafe serving full English Breakfasts and Enjoy!

This format not only allows for enjoying our roads with much less traffic, but we can then go on to enjoy the rest of our Sunday. 

 

Details of this event are as follows…

First Meet Point at 05:30 is Juwel Aquariam UK, Gateway 11 Buisness Park, Penfold Drive, Whymondham, Norfolk, NR18 0WZ

Here toilets, tea and coffee are available, the route to the second meet point will also be finalised in time for prompt 06:00 departure.

Second Meet Point ETA 07:00 is Old Hunstanton Lighthouse, Lighthouse Close, Hunstanton, Norfolk, PE36 6EL

Here there will be toilets open, if you would like tea or coffee, you will need to bring your own in a flask, we will discuss the route to the last meet point and depart at 07:30

Last Meet Point is the Old Ram, Ipswich Road, Tivetshall St Mary, Norfolk, NR15 2DE

They will be serving a quality Full English breakfast,orange juice, toast and tea at £8.95

Looking forward to joining the run at some point!  I will try and do a few miles before breakfast, but what is this ‘dawn thing’ you were referring to?  Is that a Norfolk thing?!  Wink

Breakfast is for wimps - so I will be just the man - count me in.

Got all excited for a moment when I thought there were going to be 3 breakfasts in one day Smile

Have to leave after breakfast tho’ cos its my dads birthday.

I was hoping to join in this run. However an 05:30 start wouldn’t a problem apart from the start point being a good 60mins away :-( 

So have a bacon sandwich for me ! or in Martin’s case abowl of special K Stick Tongue Out

When we were there on Sunday there was a guy who had the fresh fruit breakfast and it looked fantastic so you should be well catered for.

ALL PRICES ARE PER PERSON 

Full English Breakfast £8.95 

Freshly squeezed orange juice, 2 eggs, bacon, 

sausage, mushrooms, tomato, fried potato and toast 

Smokehouse Breakfast £9.50 

Freshly squeezed orange juice, locally smoked 

haddock, poached eggs and toast 

Lox Breakfast £8.95 

Freshly squeezed orange juice, scrambled eggs with 

Scottish smoked salmon and toast 

Vegetarian Breakfast (V) £8.50 

Freshly squeezed orange juice, 2 eggs, vegetarian 

burger, baked beans, mushrooms, tomato, fried 

potato and toast 

Eggs Benedict £6.95 

Freshly squeezed orange juice, honey roast ham and 

poached eggs on brioche coated with hollandaise 

sauce 

Fruit Breakfast (V) £7.50 (MARTIN)

Freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh seasonal fruits 

available on the day 

All the above breakfasts are served with unlimited 

tea or coffee 

Champagne Breakfasts £13.50 

Add a glass of champagne to any of the breakfasts

Lightweight !! haha. Wink   … Must admit I was just shocked when I realised i’ve got to leave at 4am to get to the start point for when you leave !! {#emotions_dlg.indif}
I still intend on giving it a go.

 Does 5.30am exist on a Sunday then?! Streuth!Confused

Not sure the words Emma said when I told her the start time should really be typed on a forum either!

Or the irony that the breakfast finish is about a mile or so away from home at a far more sensible time!

Will have to see if I get a sudden case of insomnia or go really mad for more fun!! Even our small people don’t wake up at silly o’clock anymore!

Could just come for breakfast though!! Big Smile

No traffic, no rain, great roads, relaxed atmosphere and fantastic food! 

Really big thanks for this mate, your hospitality was more than generous and the concept proved to be excellent.

Off to spend the rest of the day with Claire and Jack, but I fear I may be asleep before Top Gear tonight!
