Past ER Event - Norfolk Gala Day - Sunday 5th September

This superb event is not only on again this year, but will be more transport focused with autojumble and other stalls to add to the already huge spectacle, it is not only a great day but an excellent chance to show off our cars and club. Much more is planned this year including a return of the popular monster trucks!

As last year there is a small charge of £5.00 per car (two people) for entry, Compared to other events we attend this represents excellent value for money!

Payment can now only be made directly to the Galaday organisers (please use the forms and instructions on thier website) as the owners club have now submitted thier numbers to the organisers.

Camping will be available for free at the showground (just off a47 southern bypass) between 4 and 6 pm on the saturday, just head for the club area, we are in the same place as last year.

Visitors are welcome on the Saturday night if you fancy coming along for a beer and chat.

If there are people on the gate explain what you are doing and that we have permission to camp, any probs give me a ring on 07905 775397, i will be there at some point.

For those coming along on just for Sunday, we will meet at the Countryman PH, tasburugh on the A140 (Norfolk meet venue) at 8:15am on the Sunday for strict (sorry) depature at 8:30 to the showground, please be aware of the noise as we dont want to wake the nieghbours! i will be along to hand out passes and to lead the convoy to the showground on the day.

Any questions e-mail jamie@mx5easternregion.co.uk ,

Cheers
Jamie

Can you put our names down for this, first time we’ve been able to make this one.

Thanks

Becky, Carol & Peter

Hello.

Would it be OK if I tag along with you OC guys for this again? It’s always a laugh, and it might even be a reason to try and tidy my car up a bit.

Ta,

Muppet.

Please add myself and son (Dan) to the list please.

Could you put me and Gill down for this one please. Just the Sunday though.

Would it be ok to use some of my ‘credit’ for payment. Wink

Please add me to the list too Jamie.  Norfolk Gala day is always a great day out. Wink

Jude

Count us in please, looking forward to it. Paul & Trish Smile

Always a good day. I’m inCool

Please add us to the list, (Sunday only) we’re just a stones throw away from the show ground but will meet at the countryman to enjoy the convoy Big Smile

David & Nicola

Hi all

Please note:

Full payment must be recieved by me by the Norfolk meet at the Countryman PH on August the 18th

Payment can also be made at the NWN meet or Cambridgeshire meet to Robbie, or at the Suffolk Meet to Martin

Alternatively I will be at the Norfolk Weekender or Rougham.

If required payment can also be made by post, please e-mail me at jamie@mx5easternregion.co.uk for details.

Looking like it is going to be a good one!

Jamie

New galaday web site here: http://www.norfolkgaladay.com

Check out the event listing on page 2!

Monster Trucks

FMX motorcross

400 seat big top circus giving 3 performances…

And loads more

They have certainly pushed the boat out this year!

I will be collecting payment at both Rougham and this months Norfolk meet for the Gala Day, the day is looking bigger and better than ever, and with at least 25 Cars Confirmed already it looks like being the premier Eastern Region event.

At just £5.00 per car and two people, this day represents excellent value.

Free camping available on the Saturday night and as usual a bit of a get together is planned for the Saturday evening.

I’ll be at The Countryman on Sunday! Looking forward to it!

So who is Camping?

I’ll give it a go if the weather forecast is not really bad.

Need to try out my Mk2 camping equipment (facelift version).

Undoubtedly, will bring the barbie and firestarter thingymajig

I’ll be along in the family car this year and have opted for the warmer Travel Inn instead of the traditional camping. If anyone wants to borrow my two ring gas stove then I can bring this down on Saturday afternoon.

Also if any gazebos need transporting from the Ipswich/Norwich area then I can fit these in too.

Regards, Gary
