Past ER Event - Summer Saunter - Saturday 10th July

Saturday 10th July sees the return of last year’s Summer Saunter that was arranged by Bill & Sue Medlow. Starting at Wicken Fen National Trust car park, Lode Lane, Wicken CB7 5XP and leaving at 2:00pm. The route runs through the Cambridgeshire and Suffolk countryside but this year Ailsa has extended the last section of the run so as to finish at a pub to the South of Cambridge, where those that want to can have a quick drink and a natter. Post a reply if you’re coming along!

Any news on route yet?

List started, no news on the route as yet…

Please add us to the list Robbie.

Hope nothing turns up this time to prevent us coming.

Kev and Sue.

We’ll be there.

I had got SWMBO coming on this one as it’s our old area from our youth, until we realised the Tendring Show was on the same day.

Sorry Robbie

Neil

We only joined the Owners Club yesterday and pick our car up on Friday.  Would love to be involved on Saturday

Where’s the end point? Very tempted to come along if its a sunny day…  Big Smile

It’d be good to see you there. Which model MX-5 do we look out for?

 Silver Mk2  02 Plate.

See bottom of first post for link route instructions.

I’m going to try and make it along for the run.

John

I’m a probable possibility for the run now… so hope to see you there…

Guess I should put my name up as well then, hopefully I will have stuff all sorted in the garden by the time it starts…and will be able to catch a few more pics.

Chris

That was a warm one! Thanks to Ailsa and Chris for sorting the route this year and for the Fly pasts… A good turn out from seasoned memebrs plus some newcomers, both to the Club and the world of MX-5’s.

Nice one!

Our thanks also to Chris and Ailsa for the second part of this run, it worked really well, and the free air display too, good timingSmile

See you at Tuesday night’s meet

Many thanks to all for making us feel welcome on the day.  Very enjoyable afternoon.  Special thanks to Robbie for waiting after I missed a turning!  I was hoping the photo we took of your car from ahead would be a good one but it’s out of focus - will try again next time.

Regards

Bob & Tracey Cracknell

Great week-end. Thank you all from both of us.

Cheers

Sorry I couldn’t  make this one, but I wasn’t that  far away Cool
