Past Event - Run to a Picnic in the Park - Sunday 15th May

Norfolk Fives Proudly Present:

Picnic in the Park 2016

An Old School Run From Norwich to High Lodge

Sunday the 15th of May 09:30 for 10:00am Deprature - Sainsbury’s, Longwater Costessey, Norwich (NR5 0JS)

The run covers some of my favourite Norfolk roads to twist its way from Norwich to the High Lodge Forest Center near Brandon in Suffolk: http://www.forestry.gov.uk/highlodge

It covers 60 or so miles with a halfway halt at Swallow Aquatics in East Harling: http://www.swallowaquatics.co.uk/store/east-harling

Please take a look at both venues they both have lots to offer and the roads in between are superb.

Once at High Lodge the idea is that we partake in a picnic (there is an extensive cafe and takeaway on site for the less organised!) followed by one of the on site activities, there is so much to do from slides to segways, I may even pack a football or a rounders bat, don’t forget to pop a chair in the boot and bring a sense of fun!

As always it will be nice to see as many of you as we can, we hope to park up smartly at both venues so bring your camera, everyone is welcome to come along to any Norfolk Fives event, just please let us know by replying to this post or emailing: info@norfolkfives.co.uk

Hi Jamie and all the others on the trip today. I had a great time as a first timer in father in laws MK2. Thanks for making us both really welcome and I look forward to catching up in the future. A lovely run through the Norfolk/Suffolk countryside that was really well organised. A great end point as well. See you all soon.
