I sold this car but really enjoyed doing the conversion, I reached all the goals with it.
The next owner also enjoyed it (I think still has it) but I believe the turbo seals went, so a local tuner to him fitted a Garret turbo (I don’t know if they then remapped it to suit the new turbo) - then very shortly after it sent a rod out of the block.
The 110th copy of the guide has just been shared so I do hope this thread has helped some people to give it a go.
So 1 thing to note for anyone that is curious… of the 110 people that have requested the guide 3 of them dropped me some beer tokens via PayPal…
